History
Patios et Clotures Beaulieu was founded by Stephan Beaulieu when he was a biology teacher at Royal Vale High school in the neighbourhood of Notre-Dame-de-Grace in Montreal.During his summer holidays from 1996 to 2000, Stephan devoted himself to his other passion: woodworking. He placed an ad in the local newspaper and built over a hundred wooden decks and fences by himself. This experience allowed him to evaluate several construction techniques, and analyze the performance of materials such as new synthetic wood substitutes, treated pine, fir and spruce, as well as Western red cedar.
From 2001 to 2005, the company grew and stood out because of its unique red cedar decks and fences. In 2006, demand for his services was so strong that Stephan decided to leave teaching to focus on his growing company.
Today, Patios et Clôtures Beaulieu is known for its original and lasting red cedar projects as well as its very happy customers. The company now has a team of 8 carpenters all in love with their work and a former teacher who feels valued every day!
